About Her
Debuted in the AV industry in 2005, just before her 19th birthday, under the name of Tina Yuzuki, with the Max-A label, and quickly became one of the fans favorite girls
Her cheerful and cute attitude, her appealing mixed heritage, and a very young look, made her one of the most succesful actresses in the industry.
Born from a Japanese father and a Portuguese mother, Tina Yuzuki changed her stage name to Rio in October 2007, mainly to reflect a more mature look.
After two years in Max-A, Rio changed studios in February 2008 to S1, where she stayed for a year, and after a one-shot work with Prestige, she simultaneously joined Idea Pocket and returned to Max-A, where she still currently performs.
She won the “Adult Video Grand Prix Best New Actress Award” in 2006, the “Sky Perfect TV! Best Actress of the Year” in 2008, and co-starred with Yuma Asami, the winner movie of the “AV Grand Prix 2009″
Member of the famous T-Powers talent agency, Rio have created a big name not only in the AV industry, but also in the mainstream entertainment, with numerous appareances in TV variety shows, radio talk shows, V cinema movies, trading card sets, PSP videogames, recorded a music album, and recently released an erotic book with other AV actresses.
Rio accomplished the dream of every model, race queen, and gravure idol: becoming a real entertainer via a “body and face” work, and together with Sora Aoi and Mihiro managed to be real idols in the mainstream entertainment while still performing in the AV industry.
Apart of being a surprisingly decent singer, Rio is proficient in the portuguese and english language and have a moderate spanish level, learned from her mother, a native portuguese speaker and proficient in spanish, Rio is also a good Golf player and a Football fan.
