Appreciating Asian beauty has been something that never gets old for me. When it comes to looking at photos, searching for the latest photos of a particular person, downloading photosets, or writing about a particular person or topic for an article to post onto the internet, it’s a pleasure and will probably be something that I will continue to do for years to come.

Even though I can find a vast array of photos within the forum, I still can’t help but to check the web to see what else that I can find since I am a photo collector first and foremost and cannot stop collecting photos. One website that I like to check out from time to time is Flickr. Usually, I will check the group pools that I am a member of since new photos which are added to the pool will appear on my homepage. I’m sure that the majority of the members who are active within the forum have a favorite model/idol/celebrity that they use as the avatar picture for their account. Most likely, there’s a story behind why that particular person is your favorite or choose to associate yourself with that person. While sending visitor messages to PrinceAvalon, I became curious about Keiko Kitagawa, whose photos were being used as his avatar and profile photo, and is currently his favorite idol.

While checking her thread, I thought it would be good to feature her for the blog. Then I thought of a better idea. In addition to me creating this article for Keiko, I would get PrinceAvalon to talk about how he found out about her and why Keiko is currently his favorite idol. Hopefully, I can get more forum members to take part in this because I find it interesting to hear from those who are huge fans of a particular person.

How I found out about her

I actually first saw her in Tokyo Drift and didn’t know much about her or who she was. I just thought she was a really cute Asian girl lol, Japanese to be specific. Then, my friend’s roommate got a job where we worked and I went on about her and told him her name. He knew her and then turned me on to PGSM, where she played the role of Sailor Mars; Rei Hino. Eventually I found it and was able to watch it. I really liked her acting, something about her just struck me and stood out about her. I later followed her acting and seen all the drama’s she’s been in. As for her movies, sadly after Dear Friends, I haven’t seen any.

Why I like her

Well, I really admire her acting. I think she has an amazing and mesmerizing appeal about her. I admire that she presents herself as very respectable and has good mannerisms and seems to be very sweet and friendly. Some of her friends describe her as “shy”, which I find interesting considering her line of work, but I think it makes her personality more cute and attractive. I also respect and admire her that she seems to be very modest and respectful in her dress which is actually under appreciated I think. Not that Gravure modeling of the sort is bad, but…, I just really admire her for it. It stands out to me.

Another thing I like about her is the natural talent she seems to have in her acting/work. She has this nature to tend to “pull you in” to it and almost feel for her, like, I guess she makes it seem and feel real like you’re there with her experiencing it with her. The good, the bad, the sad, the humorous and funny. I also think she makes the cutest faces and facial expressions in her drama’s.

Describe her beauty

How would I describe her beauty? Well, I think she is very stunning and gorgeous, breathtaking even. Surely, Keiko is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen plenty .

In truth, I think she is very cute and adorable more so than just “beautiful” Many things I think add to this. For one, her eyes, while very beautiful and stunning, they are also really cute. I think her nose adds cuteness to her being chunky and pudgy. She has a very sweet smile that’ll make men melt. Keiko also has a very cute and adorable laugh.

If I were to sum it up in a word, other than adorable, Keiko is huggable. You just want to hug the girl.

Why she’s my favorite

Hmm…, this is kinda hard to explain. I used to, of all the Japanese Celebrities, like Yukorin most. Keiko then bumped her down a notch, sorry Yukorin, but don’t worry, you’re still loved.

I think most of it is because something about her just sort of “stood out” and she just caught my attention. After I discovered her and started to follow her work and see her shows or drama’s and seen two of her movies, I came to really love and admire her acting style.

It also has to do with how she presents herself. Not that other women don’t present themselves respectfully, but she just stands out a bit more than others.

Due to an amalgamation of everything is why she is my favorite idol/celebrity right now.

Yesterday, I found a nice alternative to watching my local news to get the weather for the day. NMA.tv was already famous with their outrageous animated dramatizations of recent news events. If you have yet to watch them, you can find them all on their YouTube channel. Along with those animations, they also have beautiful ladies to bring you the weather while dancing around and waving flags.

Personally, I love the videos, especially the one that has been embedded featuring today’s weather girl, Mini. Their uniforms are very cute. I would have like to have seen them report the weather wearing something more revealing, but what can you do. They also have a Facebook page that you can become a fan of and check out more photos of the beauties as well. You can find that link below at the end of this article.

It’s been a while since I wrote about a beauty to appreciate, so today I wanted to write about someone who I haven’t checked out in a long while. Megumi is one of the first idols that I took notice to when I discovered ScanLover.com back in 2005 when the main site still existed. It sucks that she retired from being a gravure model and is currently an actress. At least we can always go back and check out her photos on the forum.

This post also came at a great time because Megumi will also be celebrating her 29th birthday in a few days. In another year, she’ll become part of the Mature Wing. I wish I knew more about her, but if you happen to do so, make sure you leave a comment and share your thoughts with everyone.

While watching Jersey Shore last week on MTV, I caught the trailer for The Social Network. The movie is the story about the founders of Facebook and releases to theaters on October 1st. While watching the trailer, I saw someone who I thought was Brenda Song who I am a big fan of. When I went to check the cast list, I was surprised to see that she is indeed in the movie along with a few other Asian hotties: Malese Jow, Crystal Hoang, Yoko Okumura, and Tessa Sugay.

I was set on going to seeing The Social Network after watching the trailer. Knowing that these beauties are also in the movie is an added bonus. I hope the reviews are good once the movie critics publish their reviews for it.

When I saw this bit of news this morning, I couldn’t believe it. But not only does Anri Suzuki have a doctorate in history, but as a way to apologize for the Japanese invasion of China, she has been offering free sex sessions to the Chinese students who are studying in Japan. While focused on the Japanese invasion of China, Anri was shocked to learn about her country’s past, so she’s atoning for those past wrongdoings by offering sexual compensation.

If I was a Chinese student studying there, I would take her up on this offer in a heartbeat. You’d be silly not to. But I hope that this bit of news brings some attention to the readers here who are also unaware of the Japanese invasion of China, which is a history that doesn’t get much attention and when the Japanese government has repeatedly try to deny and remove from textbooks.

If it means that I could now watch someone like Mika Kayama (formerly known as Arisa Oda) or Yuma Asami in 3-D, then I would have to seriously consider a new television purchase. But S1 has two new 3-D releases of Mika and Yuma to coincide with the release of Sony’s 3-D Bravia television in Japan on June 19th.

I can easily see 3-D pornography fueling the sales of new 3-D televisions. Porn has fueled sales and spurred development in other technological areas, and I still don’t see movies and games that are in 3-D as being enough of a driving force to get someone to go out and drop a load on a new electronic purchase. But if more JAV releases start to come out in 3-D, it could really get people to buy a new TV and help drive down costs so that they become mainstream.
