When I saw this bit of news this morning, I couldn’t believe it. But not only does Anri Suzuki have a doctorate in history, but as a way to apologize for the Japanese invasion of China, she has been offering free sex sessions to the Chinese students who are studying in Japan. While focused on the Japanese invasion of China, Anri was shocked to learn about her country’s past, so she’s atoning for those past wrongdoings by offering sexual compensation.
If I was a Chinese student studying there, I would take her up on this offer in a heartbeat. You’d be silly not to. But I hope that this bit of news brings some attention to the readers here who are also unaware of the Japanese invasion of China, which is a history that doesn’t get much attention and when the Japanese government has repeatedly try to deny and remove from textbooks.
If it means that I could now watch someone like Mika Kayama (formerly known as Arisa Oda) or Yuma Asami in 3-D, then I would have to seriously consider a new television purchase. But S1 has two new 3-D releases of Mika and Yuma to coincide with the release of Sony’s 3-D Bravia television in Japan on June 19th.
I can easily see 3-D pornography fueling the sales of new 3-D televisions. Porn has fueled sales and spurred development in other technological areas, and I still don’t see movies and games that are in 3-D as being enough of a driving force to get someone to go out and drop a load on a new electronic purchase. But if more JAV releases start to come out in 3-D, it could really get people to buy a new TV and help drive down costs so that they become mainstream. I usually don’t watch shows such as Dancing with the Stars, but I would check it out from time to time if I am flipping through television channels and it happens to be on. And if I would have known early on that Nicole was competing on the show, I would have watched the show from the beginning of this season. Good thing that the episodes are available online to watch.
But the times that I was able to catch Nicole on the show live, she was simply amazing. She may have had a slight advantage over her competition with her background as a professional dancer, but congratulations goes out to her and to her partner Derek Hough for winning this season’s competition on May 25th.
I saw this bit of news regarding Chrissie this morning on Kineda and noticed that only one person on the site has left a comment about her. I hope this one gets more comments because Chrissie is drop-dead gorgeous. Andi if you haven’t acquainted yourself with Chrissie in a while, today is a great day to do so.
I have been a huge fan of The King of Fighters series by SNK since King of Fighters ‘94. I had high hopes for The King of Fighters XII when it was released in 2009, but the game wasn’t as good as I thought it would be, plus one of my favorite characters was missing from the roster.
Mai Shiranui has been a part of the series since the beginning, and I did not like that she was not a part of KOF XII. The good news is that Mai returns to the roster with the announcement of The King of Fighters XIII which will be out in arcades this summer. So let’s celebrate with some sexy cosplay by Sayuki Matsumoto. And if you haven’t acquainted yourself with Sayuki in a while, now is a good time to do so, especially since she looks amazing in Mai’s costume.
Speaking of Asians and the Olympics, should pole dancing become an Olympic sport? If it means that I would be able to check out Mai Sato, the current world champion in her sport on national television, absolutely.
There’s video of her in action after the break, but I don’t know why anyone would be against making pole dancing an official event. Who wouldn’t want to watch women work the pole? Plus, think about the ratings the sport would get if it is televised nationally and internationally. If figure skating and curling can draw millions of viewers worldwide, so could pole dancing. Hopefully, it makes it in someday.
If you are a snowboarder at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, beware of Asian chicks trying to polish your medal.
Scotty Lago, who won the bronze medal in Halfpipe on February 17th, volunteed to leave the Olympics after the photo on the right was taken and started making its rounds on the internet.
I can’t be too upset about this because he is a snowboarder. The problem that I have is why even have snowboarding at the Olympics if you are going to send someone home because of a photo such as this. Just tell snowboarders to not have any fun whatsoever while they are at the Olympics. Cut Scotty a break.
According to a news report published today on the Japan Today website, the future may be starting sooner than we think. By the future I mean that television and computers may become obsolete.
Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Okay, maybe that is more than a bit – maybe I am really stretching it.
Here’s the headline:

One of the great things about ScanLover having its own blog is that I can take a particular news article and go into more detail about it.
Chiaki Takahashi, who is the voice of Litchi Faye Ling for the fighting game BlazBlue, will be getting her own mouse pad. I remember seeing an article on her a while back stating that she was lending her voice talents to the game, but it really didn’t click in my head until I decided to perform a search and see if there was a thread for her within the forum. And lo and behold, there is.
