I’m sure that the majority of the members who are active within the forum have a favorite model/idol/celebrity that they use as the avatar picture for their account. Most likely, there’s a story behind why that particular person is your favorite or choose to associate yourself with that person. While sending visitor messages to PrinceAvalon, I became curious about Keiko Kitagawa, whose photos were being used as his avatar and profile photo, and is currently his favorite idol.
While checking her thread, I thought it would be good to feature her for the blog. Then I thought of a better idea. In addition to me creating this article for Keiko, I would get PrinceAvalon to talk about how he found out about her and why Keiko is currently his favorite idol. Hopefully, I can get more forum members to take part in this because I find it interesting to hear from those who are huge fans of a particular person.
It’s been a while since I wrote about a beauty to appreciate, so today I wanted to write about someone who I haven’t checked out in a long while. Megumi is one of the first idols that I took notice to when I discovered ScanLover.com back in 2005 when the main site still existed. It sucks that she retired from being a gravure model and is currently an actress. At least we can always go back and check out her photos on the forum.
This post also came at a great time because Megumi will also be celebrating her 29th birthday in a few days. In another year, she’ll become part of the Mature Wing. I wish I knew more about her, but if you happen to do so, make sure you leave a comment and share your thoughts with everyone.
I usually don’t watch shows such as Dancing with the Stars, but I would check it out from time to time if I am flipping through television channels and it happens to be on. And if I would have known early on that Nicole was competing on the show, I would have watched the show from the beginning of this season. Good thing that the episodes are available online to watch.
But the times that I was able to catch Nicole on the show live, she was simply amazing. She may have had a slight advantage over her competition with her background as a professional dancer, but congratulations goes out to her and to her partner Derek Hough for winning this season’s competition on May 25th.
I saw this bit of news regarding Chrissie this morning on Kineda and noticed that only one person on the site has left a comment about her. I hope this one gets more comments because Chrissie is drop-dead gorgeous. Andi if you haven’t acquainted yourself with Chrissie in a while, today is a great day to do so.
I don’t get the opportunity to watch much television these days, but I might have to start watching Stargate Universe after finding out a couple of days ago that Ming-Na is a part of the cast.
While browsing around the forum a while back, I came across the thread for Chu Ja Hyun who is an actress from South Korea. What got my attention is the amount of softcore photos that she posed for which are included in the thread, so make sure you check it out after the break.
Personally I haven’t watched anything that she has appeared in, but that could change after checking out her pics. And if you have any additional information on her, feel free to provide it in the comments.
Since the first time I watched Kill Bill Vol. 1, I have been mesmerized by Chiaki Kuriyama (栗山千明). There’s just something about her that makes me drop my jaw when I look at her.
While browsing around Kotaku today, I saw a post on a new commercial that she did for DMM to show their disc-based television and movie rental service for the PlayStation 3, which is basically the same service Netflix is offering here here in America, minus the hot Asian celebrity ad campaign.
There’s a link to Kotaku’s article after the break where you can check out the DMM.com commercial. For this post, I decided to include some video that I found on YouTube where you can better look at Chiaki.
“TOKYO — Actress and singer Noriko Sakai was indicted for alleged amphetamine possession Friday and her management company and record label announced that they had ditched the former pop idol.
Prosecutors indicted Sakai, 38, although there had been concern that the case could go cold as only a small amount of the drug had been found in connection with the charge. Sources familiar with the case said an additional indictment on a charge of stimulant use by Sakai is expected by the end of September.
A few days ago, famous Hong Kong director Derek Yee openly lambasted an actor and actress for their diva attitudes. He explained that he had requested to meet up with the pair of artistes numerous times to discuss about some work projects but got stood up by them instead. It was speculated that Sammi Cheng and Leon Lai were the two artistes he was referring to.
On her blog, Hong Kong singer-actress, Sammi Cheng, cleared the misunderstanding and cited poor health issues for her unprecedented no-show attitude a few years ago. She forthrightly admitted that she was the female actress mentioned and sincerely apologized for her act. Read more…
