I usually don’t watch shows such as Dancing with the Stars, but I would check it out from time to time if I am flipping through television channels and it happens to be on. And if I would have known early on that Nicole was competing on the show, I would have watched the show from the beginning of this season. Good thing that the episodes are available online to watch.
But the times that I was able to catch Nicole on the show live, she was simply amazing. She may have had a slight advantage over her competition with her background as a professional dancer, but congratulations goes out to her and to her partner Derek Hough for winning this season’s competition on May 25th.

“On Friday, the Tokyo District Court ruled in favor of singer Miki Fujimoto (24) and her older brother, who had filed a defamation lawsuit against Shukan Shincho publisher Shinchosha.
An issue of the Shukan Shincho magazine published in November 2007 ran a headline declaring that Fujimoto was extorting money from her ex-boyfriend. The article inside the issue claimed that Fujimoto’s older brother had made the boyfriend pay a total of 20 to 30 million yen.
Fujimoto’s lawyer sought damages of 40 million yen and a published apology. The presiding judge ruled against Shinchosha, explaining that there was insufficient evidence to support the magazine’s accusations. Shinchosha was ordered to pay only 4 million yen in damages.”

“The drug case of Noriko Sakai and Yuichi Takaso still continues. The latest major development was last week’s discovery of a house in Chiba that the two often visited over the past few years. A police search found a small amount of amphetamines, along with some paraphernalia intended for using the drugs.
The house is located in the city of Katsuura, Chiba, about fifty meters from the beach. Takaso reportedly had been renting the place since five years ago, and eyewitnesses said they have often seen Takaso visiting the beach to surf, accompanied by Sakai and their son. In recent years, the two were seen at the beach separately – either Sakai with the son, or Takaso with his friends. However, the couple still sometimes went there together, with one source saying they were in the vicinity as recently as August 2, the day before Takaso’s arrest.

Yesterday Niki Chow expressed that her new book sales are quite good. The reporter asked if she beat the young models pictorials in sales? She said “That’s not the case. My book is about my travels and totally a different approach”. She also revealed that there was a mistake in her book. She said “Ho Lai Chuen helped me write a preface for my book. The phrase 腦中無憂 (Mind without worries) became 腦中無愛 (Mind with no love). I am very sorry about that. Although I was not the one who edited the book, I am still the writer. I feel a lot of pressure and hope they will correct the mistake in future editions.
